Summary
Between February 28 and March 1, 2026, users experienced errors while attempting to mint Digital Miner NFTs on the GoMining platform. Although overall blockchain indexing was restored, minting to MetaMask wallets on the Binance Smart Chain (BSC) network remained partially affected due to issues related to MetaMask browser extension integration in certain dedicated web browsers.
Users were unable to complete NFT minting on affected networks for several hours.
Minting functionality has been restored on most networks.
Minting to MetaMask wallets on the BSC network may still be unavailable for users running outdated versions of the MetaMask extension.
Minting and withdrawals on the Ethereum network are functioning normally.
No user funds were lost as a result of this incident.
On February 28, 2026, the GoMining Blockchain Indexing Service began experiencing replication lag, resulting in delayed and incomplete transaction indexing.
After the service was restarted and synchronization resumed, the BSC network encountered heavy database locking during backfill operations. This locking temporarily prevented successful NFT minting transactions.
Additionally, compatibility issues with older versions of the MetaMask browser extension contributed to continued minting failures for some BSC users.
Restarted the GoMining Blockchain Indexing Service
Increased the BSC scan range to recover missed transactions
Switched RPC nodes to improve network reliability
Completed synchronization for the MINEBOX-NFT collection
Restored minting functionality across supported networks
Users experiencing issues on BSC are advised to update their MetaMask extension to the latest version.
